Gig Review: Vans Warped Tour, Comcast Center, 7/23/08

by J Frazzetta July 30th, 2008 | Concert Review

More fan friendly, even if the fans aren’t friendly. Cheaper than seeing Ozzy Osbourne haul his carcass on stage to forget the words to ‘Crazy Train’. My first encounter with the Vans Warped Tour was an interesting one.

Very small, capacity of about 500, you really get to spend time with a band and those around you. As Todd Lewis took the microphone, he remarked, “It’s good to see you all, thanks for coming out,” quickly strummed his guitar to the tune of ‘Plane Crash’ and at 11:30 the Toadies had hit Cambridge.
