What do you say when a legendary artist asks you to cover his song for a benefit album? You say yes. . .duh. Which was the exact response 16 current artists gave to their idols when this album was being created. To help promote awareness of children who have been displaced by war around the globe War Child and Astralwerks teamed up to create this collection of covers.
The reason for me purchasing this album was to hear Beck play Bob Dylan, which is done very well, and to give a listen to other artists I’m not familiar with. The lineup

Nirvana Albums on Vinyl

I can still remember the first time I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Nirvana. That was 18 years ago, and I was a college freshman. The first few bars of the song immediately turned me into a convert to alternative rock. Nirvana changed the way I listened to music, and I know it was also the same with many people during that time. Nevermind brought alternative rock to a large mainstream audience. Nevermind, which was released in September 1991 by Geffen Records, was Nirvana's second studio album and major debut. The album has sold more than 10 million copies in the

Relapse, his first original studio album in over four years, will hit music stores in the United Kingdom on May 18, 2009. But fans will have a taste of what the album would be like as early as April 7th because the first single from the album and
Gig Review: Planeside, Muddy River Smokehouse, Portsmouth, NH, 2/26/09
by J Frazzetta March 4th, 2009 | Concert Review
In college you grow an affinity for certain bands. While I worked at WKNH in Keene I had the opportunity to work with a few, and Planeside was one of them. Planeside, a rock trio hailing from New York, played several gigs for us and recently stopped in Portsmouth to promote their latest EP, Under The Circumstances, It’s Not Such a Bad Idea.
The Muddy River Smokehouse has a roomy downstairs with a bar, dance floor, and stage begging for live music. Thankfully, last Thursday we were all treated to some great live action. First opener was Regina, a solo singer/songwriter
