Let’s Play with Incredibox

April 10th, 2012 by Jason Lightner | Music Opinions
A diamond in the rough of the Internet, Incredibox is a gem that up until earlier tonight, I'd forgotten about completely. To describe this creation as simply a fun time waster is unacceptable. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a stunningly simple, yet beautiful, work of functional art.

Is It Safer by the Shore?

A while back you might recall that I reviewed a band called Mugshot who have made a name for themselves in New Hampshire as being a great cover band on any given night.  While Mugshot is still plugging away each weekend, their vocalist/guitarist Brien Sweet is also making tunes under the name Safer by the Shore.  True, playing covers can be a lot of fun and gives you some flexibility to stretch out and show off a bit -- but creating your own material has rewards as well.

These are only physical media formats, mind you. This doesn't take into account the evolution of digital media formats over the years from MIDI to low-fidelity WAV files, to RealMedia, to MP3, M4A, and the various lossless formats. Changing in step with all of these different formats is the quality and clarity of the audio.

I began listening to music on vinyl and cassette
