Back in the day, we used to listen to vinyl and 8-track tapes. Soon after, our music was delivered on compact cassette tapes, then CDs. For a time, there were Super Audio CDs and even DVD-Audio. These are only physical media formats, mind you. This doesn't take into account the evolution of digital media formats over the years from MIDI to low-fidelity WAV files, to RealMedia, to MP3, M4A, and the various lossless formats. Changing in step with all of these different formats is the quality and clarity of the audio.

New Release: Tristan Clopet (Name It What You Want)
Nothing screams summer louder than Florida beaches; to be more specific, I should say Miami beaches. I know Will Smith had his vision of Miami and I have mine, so let’s keep it that way. Rather than send yours truly on assignment to the Sunshine State, a piece of it came to visit me from our friend Tristan Clopet. Alex Chilton is best known for performing with The Box Tops back in the 60s, their song “The Letter” is pretty recognizable on any oldies radio station. However, many have felt his influence throughout the course of music history, including The Replacements. They penned a song, titled “Alex Chilton”, in direct tribute to one of their heroes. Up until I bought Rock Band 2 for the Xbox in August, I had no idea such a song existed or who Alex Chilton actually was in relation to the world.
