5. Schoolyard Heroes – On the heels of their latest album and first music video for “Plastic Surgery Hall of Fame”, this Seattle based group has been gaining a steady cult following. They are looking to invade even more homes and create even more fans by 2009.

4. Pierce The Veil – Fueled by a pop punk rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”, Pierce The Veil has been touring steadily nationwide. Another single off their debut album is “I’d Rather Die Than Be Famous”. They also appeared recently on Van’s Warped Tour.

3. DR Manhattan – Fresh off an outing on Van’s Warped Tour and fueled by their first single “Big Chomper”, they are definitely a group to keep a close eye on for 2009.

2. The Devil Wears Prada - This artist not only has toured nationally but recently left Rise Records to sign with Ferret Records. They have appeared at Sounds Of The Underground and Van’s Warped Tour.

1. The White Tie Affair – Fueled by their single and video for “Candles (Sick and Tired)” and other memorable songs, including “Sleeping With The Enemy” and “Mr. Right”, The White Tie Affair has been steadily touring nationally and are currently touring with Kill Hannah.

Honorable Mention : Since October – Fresh off their latest album Grasping For Hope. Since October have been steadily gaining fans and touring nationally. Their latest single was even picked up by Capitol Records.
